I've created this website as part of my final project for a Sociology class I'm taking at UCSC. The first story posted is also a story I wrote as a final project for an American Studies course, "Multicultural Science Fiction". I've combined all my interests here in creating a feminist/queer/trans short story, and a safe feminist/queer/trans-friendly space in which to post it, where amateur/novice writers and readers can interact around our love of the science fiction genre.

That being said, this blog is also a safe space, meaning no one should have to encounter racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, misogyny, classism, fatism, or anything else I deem inappropriate. (Profanity and sexually explicit content may be included, depending on its intersection with aforementioned oppressions) If your comment or submitted work contains any of these things, do not expect to see it on this blog. All posts and comments are moderated by me; that means, if you see something that I don't, please let me know!
